My name is Maranda and I live in the mountains with my sweet, bearded husband and our smiley, little girl, Daisy. I started this blog in October ’09 to document my pregnancy. It started as something to just do every now and then and has turned into a real passion. I’ve always loved writing, but there’s just something special about blogging and knowing your reaching people, relating to people, making friends, and getting advice. Now, I write nearly everyday and I feel like my blog is growing and evolving just like I am. I write to document my little Daisy’s first year. Every moment is precious and every moment deserves to be remembered, photographed and blogged about!

I enjoyed the Obamer blog because I am also from the Bible Belt (born in Montgomery, Al and currently going to the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Al). I had a conversation with my grandmother before the primarys were over and she said that he was the Anti-Christ and she couldn’t understand why people my age were voting for him. Hey! Just wanted to let you know that i am watching you! *_* aka, i have started stalking your blog! I’m glad that you posted that link on FB, otherwise, i would have never realized that you have a blog! i, for one, love learning about babies and thier development! this will be fascenating for me, despite the fact that i have decided not to go the route of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood. (mostly because working with a ton of toddlers WEARS ME OUT!!!) also, it is fun reading about you and your precious baby girl! and hopefully, following it will prepare me for the future kids i want to have. (this is on hold for now, seeing as there are no guys in my life worth mentioning, and i kinda need one of those first! :3)
